Ways to Give

Champion Donors

By becoming a Champion donor, you will help ensure that the vital services CCFI provides children every day are sustained over time.  Champions are invited to special events throughout the year to learn more about issues impacting children and families and to see their investment in action.  We ask our Champions to consider one of the following options:

    •    $1,000 per year for 5 years
    •    $5,000 per year for 5 years
    •    $10,000 per year for 5 years

CCFI gratefully accepts multi-year pledges of support below the $1,000 per year level. However, Champion Donor status begins at $1,000 per year for a $5,000 or more total commitment.

Monthly Giving

Provide steady, dependable support to fight child abuse and neglect and to support children and families. Our monthly donors find it easier to have their donations deducted monthly from their checking or savings account or charged to their credit card rather than writing checks each month.

One-Time Gifts

By donating $25, $50 or $100 today, you can help us to improve the lives of children today -we appreciate all levels of giving! Your one-time gift can be made by check or credit card.

Holiday Wishes

Help CCFI provide gifts for the hundreds of children and families they serve by participating in our "Holiday Wishes” gift drive. Through this drive, you can make a big difference in someone’s life. Picture the joy on a child's face as he opens a present and his wish actually comes true. Imagine the sense of relief when a single mother struggling to make ends meet realizes she will have something to give her kids this year. Feel the hope of a teenager who receives a special gift, letting him know he was not forgotten, someone really does care.

Why do we need your help?

We want to make sure every child we serve has a gift to open and every family we serve is provided with much-needed essentials.  In some circumstances, children we serve will spend their holiday in foster care or group homes and many of the families in our community – based programs are struggling to make ends meet.  We do everything we can to make this time of year as joyous as possible for those who may be having difficulties.

How can I help?

Individuals, families or civic organizations can help support a child(ren) by "adopting" their holiday wish list. We are also in need of gift cards (see below) for shoes and clothing. You can also bring new and unwrapped items by our office to be included in a child's gift bag - i.e. mittens, toys, books, etc. For more information about adopting a wish list, please contact Paige Uhr at puhr@ccfinorman.org or (405) 364-1420.

Preferred stores for gift card donations:

Sooner Mall                           Old Navy                                Sears
Babies R Us                           Toys R Us                               Kohl’s
JC Penney                             Target                                     TJ Maxx
Ross                                        Wal-Mart                                Payless Shoes

Planned Giving

Creating hopeful opportunities for local children and families while preserving the future of CCFI can be done through all forms of planned gifts, including bequests, charitable remainder trusts, retirement assets, appreciated stock/bonds, gifts of real estate, and many more.

Through a partnership with the Oklahoma City Community Foundation, the Hope for Children Endowment provides an avenue for individuals who want to ensure their gift sustains services for children in our community. Endowing your financial contribution to the Center for Children and Families allows your gift to continue to support our work to heal children, empower youth, and strengthen families in perpetuity.

To make your planned gift or for more information, contact Jodana Borden at
405-364-1420 or jborden@ccfinorman.org.

Making an Endowment Gift

Contributions can go directly to CCFI’s endowment fund at the Oklahoma City Community Foundation. You can make an online donation or non-cash gifts. Visit the Oklahoma City Community Foundation website or call (405) 235-5603 for more information. Regardless of how you give, please be certain to specify that your gift is to benefit the Center for Children and Families' endowment fund.

Visit Our Endowment Page Here To Give

Choose From the Following Gift Options:

ENDOW YOUR GIFT

Endowing your financial contribution to the Center for Children and Families allows your gift to continue to support the organization in perpetuity. For example, a gift of $10,000 could provide $500 annually to the organization. A gift of $20,000 could provide $1,000 annually to the organization. Examples are based on a five percent interest rate.

WILLS AND REQUESTS

A charitable bequest is one of the easiest estate gifts. With a bequest you can designate a specific amount, a percentage, or the remainder of your estate to the Center for Children and Families. In some cases, you may also receive a substantial reduction in federal estate taxes. Please contact us for sample bequest language to place in your will.

CHARITABLE GIFT ANNUITIES

To potentially increase your income and support the agency, you can make a gift of cash or other assets of at least $20,000. Through an annuity, you or a named beneficiary will receive fixed annuity payments. Upon the annuitant’s death, the remaining assets would go to the endowment.

CHARITABLE REMAINDER TRUSTS

With a Charitable Remainder Trust, you may place cash or property in a trust that pays annual income to you (or another named beneficiary) for life or for a term of years. Upon the trust’s termination, the trust assets benefit the Center for Children and Families. You may receive tax benefits in the year you establish your trust.

RETIREMENT PLAN ASSETS

Your retirement accounts such as IRAs or 401(k) accounts are subject to estate and income taxes. To reduce this burden on your estate and heirs and to create a charitable legacy, you may use any retirement plan assets to maximize charitable contributions by transferring these assets to the Hope for Children Endowment. You may produce significant tax savings while helping the Center for Children and Families accomplish its mission.

In-Kind Donations

Every year, CCFI receives thousands of in-kind donations from community members, churches, schools and other civic organizations throughout Cleveland County.  You can help support our mission by donating to the Baby Pantry, purchasing items from program-specific wish lists on Amazon or providing general donations.

Baby Pantry

A lack of an adequate supply of diapers is a serious problem, affecting 1 in 3 American families. Unfortunately, government assistance programs, such as WIC and SNAP (i.e. food stamps), do not cover diaper purchases. To help fill this gap, the CCFI Baby Pantry provides diapers, wipes and emergency baby supplies to families with limited resources. And with infants requiring up to 12 diapers per day, this assistance is both greatly needed and appreciated.

The Baby Pantry accepts the following donation items:

  • Packaged diapers
  • Packaged wipes
  • Non-expired baby food and formula
  • Baby shampoo, lotion, body wash
  • New/unused baby bottles
  • New/unused baby and toddler clothing
  • New or gently used plastic toys

CCFI does not accept opened packages of diapers or wipes, stuffed animals, fabric covered toys, car seats or used clothing. All donations are tax-deductible and are accepted Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Wish Lists

CCFI's program-specific wish lists include items to benefit the children and families we serve. These donations are greatly appreciated, as they help offset program costs. Look for a special Wish for Wednesday request each week on social media (@CCFINorman) to see how you can help fulfill our wishes.

Visit the *wish lists below to view our current needs:

* When you make purchases through AmazonSmile (www.smile.amazon.com), the AmazonSmile Foundation will donate 0.5% of the price of eligible purchases directly to CCFI. Simply select 'Center for Children and Families, Inc.' as your charity of choice to make your donation go even further.

Sustainable Funding
