Boys & Girls Club of Norman
Boys & Girls Club of Norman provides a safe and caring environment to Norman Public School students ages 6-18. After school programming is designed to provide resource connections for families and opportunities for improved social skills, self-esteem and child development of the youth. Since the Club is offered under the umbrella of our parent agency, CCFI, members and their families have full access to all of the supportive services CCFI offers.
The Club’s after school program and summer enrichment opportunities include:
- Programs for academic success, healthy lifestyles and character and leadership development
- Recreational activities
- Positive adult mentoring
- Family-oriented events and activities
- Educational field trips
Academic School Year
Boys & Girls Club of Norman is open Monday - Friday, 3:00-7:00 p.m. and follows the Norman Public School academic calendar. A nutritious meal and snack are provided daily and transportation is available for students from the following schools:
- Irving Middle School
- Kennedy Elementary
- Adams Elementary
- Wilson Elementary
- *Jefferson Elementary
*BGCN staff walk children from Jefferson Elementary to the Club
All students in Norman Public Schools are welcome, but parents/guardians are responsible for transportation if school is not listed above.
How to Enroll
To enroll in Boys & Girls Club of Norman for the 2018 - 2019 academic school year, please provide the following:
- Copy of child’s birth certificate
- *Paid enrollment fee ($10 fee per semester)
- Membership application form
- Signed and returned parent handbook
Turn in enrollment form and other documentation to the CCFI front desk Monday - Friday between 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
*No child will be denied membership due to inability to pay
Boys & Girls Club of Norman is open Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., June 4 – 29, 2018. A light breakfast, lunch and snack are provided daily. Transportation is NOT provided during the summer program.
