End of Year Giving
Our work is based on the essential truth that healthy, supportive relationships are the foundation for success in every child’s life. Your generous investments are increasingly vital in this mission for our community’s children. The sobering reality is that the financial crisis facing our state is crippling our ability to serve those who need us most.
By the Numbers
At Center for Children and Families, Inc., our programs HEAL children, EMPOWER youth and STRENGTHEN families. These programs are designed to prevent child abuse and neglect
and give our community’s children the opportunity to hope for a brighter future.
In addition, CCFI services also stand to improve relationships, enhance skills and increase knowledge to help break generational cycles of abuse and neglect.
How Can I Help?
Your tax-deductible gift will help us fulfill our critical mission and equip our community’s children with the relational building blocks they need to grow into happy, healthy adults. You can contribute to our 2018 End of Year Giving campaign by giving in-person, by mail or online. You may also make contributions by contacting Jodana Borden at 405-364-1420 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
When Sequoya was an infant, her biological parents struggled with substance abuse and domestic violence, leaving them unable to adequately care for their daughter. Due to these challenging circumstances, Sequoya was placed into foster care when she was just 12 months old.
Upon entry into her foster home, Sequoya struggled to form healthy bonds with her foster family, so family therapy at CCFI was eagerly sought. Through the therapeutic process, the bond between Sequoya and her foster parents began to develop and deepen. Over the course of the next year, Sequoya slowly began feeling more safe and secure in her surroundings and stopped showing signs of aggression.
Sequoya was eventually adopted by her foster parents, who celebrated in this delight with the CCFI family. We are thrilled this vibrant girl is with a safe and nurturing family and that our agency played such a critical role in Sequoya’s story of love and healing.
