Why are BUB services needed?
These services provide support and education for parents who are expecting or have babies up to a year old.
Who does the BUB program assist?
This program is for residents of Cleveland County who fall in either of these categories:
- First time parents who are past 28 weeks of pregnancy or have a baby under a year old.
- Parents in the 2nd or 3rd pregnancy.
How can I benefit from these services?
Parents can learn new parenting ideas and child-friendly activities through home visits with a staff member. Topics can include prenatal care, childbirth, infant care, safety, nutrition, and discipline.
Parents can also receive help with referrals for other services in the community.
