Teenage Parenting Program
The TAP program offers support and education for pregnant and parenting teen moms and dads. We help young parents learn to provide nurturing, safe, and healthy lifestyles for their families. You can learn about your pregnancy and childbirth, about useful baby care tips and parenting skills, and receive parenting ideas from friends and experts. You can grow with other moms and dads in your same situation and begin friendships for yourself and your child You can share your own parenting ideas with others, and share your likes and dislikes, suggestions and complaints, problems and joys. We can help direct you to housing, medical care, food, and day care. Direct you to baby clothes, baby furniture, diapers, and maternity clothes. Help with transportation to take you to appointments and apply for services. (Some transportation to groups is available). |
