Neighborhood Centers          Program (NC)

Neighborhood Centers offers two programs for kids during out-of-school time at Wilson Elementary and Kennedy Elementary schools in Norman.

Our mission is to bring residents together to create strong neighborhoods, happy kids, and healthy families.

The NC program provides a safe and supervised place for kids from the local neighborhoods to participate in activities, extended learning opportunities

The Neighborhood Centers Program uses Asset Building and America's Five Promises as framework for our service.

The Search Institute developmental model focuses on building essential character qualities within children. We also believe in the Alliance for Youth's Five Promises. Every child needs:

  • Caring Adults
  • Safe Places
  • A Healthy Start
  • Marketable Skills
  • Opportunities to Serve
