"Children in The Middle"
Parent Education Group Series

The information and skills provided in this group lay the foundation for other DVA services. This series is required for parents to receive visitation, mediation, or arbitration services.

This unique educational group teaches useful skills to parents struggling with intense emotions, unproductive communication or challenging child behavior as a result of divorce/separation. Discussions revolve around keeping your child "out of the middle" of the adult conflicts while developing more productive communication between the parents.

This class empowers parents to nurture their children through periods of conflict and intense emotion and teaches parents skills to effectively communicate while providing tools for negotiation of parenting and visitation issues.

Research shows that the most traumatic divorce issue for children is ongoing conflict. It can cause intense fear, anxiety and anger in children. Learning to communicate effectively and negotiate productively can make the conflict between parents decrease, making a healthier, happier, and more emotionally stable atmosphere for your child. Advance enrollment is required.

The class schedule is here on our website. The cost of this series is $80.00. To reserve a place in the class, $40.00 is due with enrollment. Pauper's Affidavits are accepted in lieu of payment.
