Host a Benefit

Have a Party. Make a Difference. Gift giving has always been a part of the party tradition, but… there is a new event in town! Host a party/event and tell your friends, family, co-workers, etc. to help you support the children and families in our community!

It’s a win-win situation. You throw a cool, themed benefit party or drive (we’ve already found the free goodies for you!) and the Center receives some much needed wish list items!

Simple. Fun. And Free! Get Started Now! Just follows these steps:

Step 1 | Contact Christi, to let her know you are interested! Email cmackey@ccfinorman.org, call (405) 364 – 1420. She’ll be the one to help you set everything up – and the one to connect you with the free items for your party.

Step 2 | If you decide to have a party – decide on a theme. Make your party a traditional baby shower or go casual with something like a “Burgers for Babies” cookout, or a Sports Watch Party. Be festive and throw a Cocktail Party or celebrate winter with a Holiday Party. Be creative!

Step 3 | Make your guest list. For a quick and easy way to invite your guests, click here and use CCFI’s free online invitations (these are only valid for Benefit Parties). Go casual with a free Facebook Event, or formal with paper invitations. Make sure a CCFI Wish List is included with your invitations, so guests know what to bring. Remind them that the gifts do not need to be wrapped.

Remember: Give your guests plenty of notice (around 2 weeks is best). Put your information down if you would like them to RSVP.

Step 4 | Decide on a menu. The Center partnered with local bakeries, and they will donate a dessert to the event. To reserve those, make sure you contact Christi at cmackey@ccfinorman.org.

Step 5 | Plan activities! Let your imagination run wild: play traditional baby shower games, make it a summer swim party, or a potluck. Have a great mix of music to play while people mingle. The Center will provide you with a video about the agency and can also provide a guest speaker to share more about the impact services have in the local community.

Step 6 | Have fun! Enjoy your time, and remember what a fantastic difference you’re making in the life of a local child and/or their family.

Step 7 | Give your guests some gratitude. Use the Center’s free thank you e-card, or paper cards, provided by the Center, to thank your guests for their attendance and donations. And be sure you tell us about it on our facebook page or by emailing Christi.
