Become a CCFI Ambassador
Calling ALL CCFI Heroes!
The easiest way to help children and families in our community!
What is a CCFI Ambassador?
CCFI Ambassadors are community leaders, volunteers, parents, students, and/or professionals of all ages and backgrounds that want to take their service to the next level by introducing CCFI’s mission and work to other members of the community. The Ambassador opens the doors of the organization to the community and gives individuals a better understanding of the children, families and neighborhoods around the Norman area.
How do I qualify to become an Ambassador?
To become an Ambassador you must have a passion for CCFI’s mission of improving the lives of children through partnerships with families and communities and a firm belief that every boy and girl deserves to grow up safe, nurtured and loved. It is also preferred that an Ambassador attend a Children Front and Center tour either at the agency or off-site before committing to the program.
What kind of time commitment and responsibilities does the program require?
As a CCFI Ambassador, you must also be able to commit to at least five hours per year and able introduce at least 10 to 15 people (annually) to the mission and work of the organization through either one of the following methods:
- Host at least one Children Front and Center Tour per year. This can be in your home, office, place of worship, etc., or at the agency during a regularly scheduled tour. If you decide to have your tour at home, work, etc. you can also look into coordinating it as a benefit party as well, click here for more information about CCFI Benefit Party’s.
- Recruit 10-15 guests to attend a Children Front and Center tour (without hosting) over the year. Inform guests what the tour entails and that they will receive one follow-up call from CCFI staff.
- Invite others to get involved either by hosting a Children Front and Center Tour, Benefit Party or Diaper Drive, or by volunteering, donating, or becoming an Ambassador.
- Optional: be a table captain and invite 10 guests to CCFI’s Annual Hands & Hearts Fundraising Luncheon in October.
