In this land of opportunity, every child deserves to achieve his or her full potential. When we nurture
the possibilities within children, we build a solid foundation upon which
our community may flourish for generations to come. The Center for
Children and Families focuses on individual and family strengths, taking
guidance from the following principles:

each possessing a multitude of strengths, which can be identified and
cultivated.

of shapes and sizes. each with its own potential and needs. Services
encourage family growth and assist families in meeting their needs.

positive difference in the lives of children. Enhancing the knowledge
and skills of family members, friends and professionals involved with
children create supportive networks that help them reach their full
potential.

The community as a whole
plays an important role in supporting children and families. A
commitment to the healthy development of a child is a commitment to
the healthy development of a community.
To truly nurture children and
families, CCFI also nurtures relationships with other organizations and
throughout the community. By demonstrating unconditional positive regard,
compassion, respect for cultural diversity, and true collaboration in all
aspects of our work, we model these ideals for the people who seek our
