The Center for Children and Families, Inc. (CCFI) delivers specialized services to children and families coping with abuse, neglect, divorce, separation, teenage pregnancy, a lack of quality out-of-school care, and/or other family stressors. We respect the complexity of human nature and human needs as we guide children and their families through challenges and opportunities that will enable them to have more productive, healthy, and happy lives – so their future, and ours, is one we can all be proud of.
Our continuum of care is broad, and while the range in intensity varies, the results are similarly focused to improve the lives of children, their families and the local community. We know the quality of parenting and relationships early in life can effect development and behavior for a lifetime. An investment today in childhood saves lives, preserves families, reduces crime, improves educational results for our children and is the best bet for our community’s economic development initiatives.
Since 1969, CCFI has partnered with schools, neighborhoods, public agencies, and families to create programs for our community’s young people, ranging from education and prevention services to youth development and enrichment services because we believe that every boy and girl deserves to grow up safe, nurtured and loved.
At the Center for Children and Families, Inc. (CCFI) we work to:
We believe every boy and girl should grow up safe, nurtured and loved. However, experiences of abuse, neglect and/or other adverse experiences in childhood have devastating, long-term effects on children. Our services help children begin the healing process and increase their potential to lead healthy, productive lives.
More Heal Children
Because caring and nurturing adults make a positive difference in the lives of children, many of our services strive to enhance the knowledge and skills of parents, foster parents, and family members involved with children. This helps create a supportive network that promotes children’s growth and development
More Strengthen Families
