Communications/Resource Intern

An internship is available for students who want to get practical experience with communications and resource coordination in the non-profit world.  Interns work directly with the Communications Specialist and assist with writing and design of publications, creating public relations materials, updating the CCFI website and other social media sites (i.e. Facebook and Twitter) and general communications tasks. Interns will also work with the Resource Coordinator in planning events, securing resources for the agency, coordinating volunteers and volunteer activities, and updating online volunteer databases. Intern will also assist with answering phones and general office work.

 

Students working towards a degree in journalism, public relations, advertising, or graphic design preferred (or who have some experience in one of these fields).  Design experience with Adobe programs is a plus. Flexible hours and internship length of time is available.
