Moving into the next 10 years

The end of the decade proved to JSI that the community needed the services being offered, with divorce rates rising rapidly and child abuse and/or neglect numbers increasing, the organization was helping more children every year. The end of the decade marked an era of support, JSI became an official United Way of Norman agency in 1978 and community benefits became a staple. With three ‘official’ programs, Extended Families, Divorce Services, and Parents Assistance, moved into the next ten years with endless possibilities.
